Washington Park

The largest park in De Smet, Washington Park is located one block North of Highway 14 on Third Street and Harvey Dunn Avenue.  The park features playground equipment, a sand volleyball court, 2 picnic shelters, and various perennial and annual flowers.  A Father De Smet statue is located in the park.

Camping:
Amenities include tent and RV camping facilities, electricity, water, a bathhouse with warm water showers, shade trees, a sand volleyball court and horseshoe pits.
